People First Consult (PFC) is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client in the manufacturing sector for an experienced Quality and Operational Excellence Manager to lead quality assurance, food safety, occupational health and safety, operational excellence, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 management systems and certifications
• Oversee quality assurance, quality control, food safety, product compliance, and laboratory testing
• Coordinate internal and external audits, risk assessments, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead occupational health and safety programs, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness.
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, waste reduction, and innovation.
• Manage customer complaints, supplier quality, product specifications, and quality performance.
• Develop team capabilities, strengthen organizational knowledge management, and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Printing or Packaging Technology, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant manufacturing experience, including at least three years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience maintaining ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 certifications and leading external audits.
• Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001 and ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 is required.
• HACCP certification required; occupational health and safety qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in FMCG, food and beverage manufacturing, or packaging materials is essential. Printing, converting, or food-contact packaging experience is an added advantage.
